The annual academic field visit was conducted by the Department of Public Administration on 23rd\u00a0<\/sup>& 24th<\/sup> of March 2016, under the course of Public Management to observe the progress of post rehabilitation and reconstruction process of war victims in Jaffna.\u00a0An initial discussion was held with the government officers of \u201cValikamam North – Tellipalai\u201d Divisional Secretariat. Later, 100 internally displaced families were interviewed by the 3rd year students of the Department to examine their current socio-economic status and to identify their expectations towards reconstruction and rehabilitation.\u00a0Also 33000 Rs. worth of dry foods were distributed to the displaced people during this survey.<\/p>\n
