Announcement for the Death of Dr. Asoka Jagath Wijenayake, a great teacher of the Department of Public Administration

The Department of Public Administration of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura passes its deepest condolences on the recent passing of reputed public personality Dr. Asoka Jagath Wijenayake who has severed for the Department of Public Administration as an excellent lecturer from 1st of September 1982 to 3rd of November 1997. He will always be remembered as a great teacher, and as an excellent alumnus of the Department of Public Administration of the University.  The Staff and the Students of the Department pay their sincere gratitude for his incredible national contribution as a famous artist and a reputed politician.  May he attain Nibbahana !!
