Pre-MoU Initiatives: Advancing Academic Collaboration and Student Engagement with the University of Kabianga

As part of our Pre-MoU activities, the Department of Public Administration has undertaken several initiatives to strengthen academic collaboration and student engagement. We hosted two guest lectures (28th October 2024 and 04th October 2024) by Dr. Thomas Otieno Juma from the University of Kabianga, who shared insights on Balance of Power and Wars and Their Impact in International Relations, significantly enriching our students’ learning experience. Additionally, we invited academic members from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, along with other interested scholars from the University of Kabianga, to contribute to our International Journal of Governance and Public Policy Analysis (IJGPPA), creating an avenue for potential academic partnership. Our student-led magazine, Classic 2024, in its special 10th edition, has also welcomed creative submissions from students in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences and other interested students from the University of Kabianga, fostering a vibrant exchange of diverse perspectives within our academic community.
