I started my academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Public Management from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2013. This laid the foundation for my passion for understanding societal dynamics, leading me to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Sociology from the University of Colombo in 2016.

In 2018, I furthered my knowledge by obtaining a Master of Science in Management from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Seeking to broaden my horizons, I ventured to Ritsumeikan University in Japan, where I earned a Master of Arts in International Relations in 2023, supported by the prestigious Japanese Government Merit Scholarship (MEXT).

Having joined the Department of Public Administration as a tutor in 2013, I gradually advanced to the roles of lecturer and eventually senior lecturer in 2021. Along this journey, I've enriched numerous students' educational experiences by teaching subjects within public administration, sociology, and development studies.

My research interests include social issues, ethnicity, peace and conflict, reconciliation, and identity formulation. I've authored numerous publications in reputable journals, presented my findings at international conferences, and contributed chapters to esteemed books in those fields as an author. In recognition of my scholarly achievements, I was honored with the Excellent Master's Thesis Award from the Graduate School of International Relations at Ritsumeikan University in 2023.

Driven by a desire for global exposure and continuous learning, I remain steadfast in my pursuit of excellence, seeking opportunities to further enhance my skills and make meaningful contributions to both academia and society.
