Undergraduate Research Day - 2024

The Department of Public Administration aligned with the International Conference on Business Management (ICBM) organized Undergraduate Research Day 2024 for undergraduates of the Department to showcase their research findings and hard work to gain valuable exposure for their academic accomplishments.

The event occurred on 28th February 2024 from 10.30 A.M. onwards at WEBBER Hall of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The proceedings commenced with the warm welcome from Dr. R. P. C. K. Jayasinghe, Undergraduate Research Day 2024 Chair and Head of the Department of Public Administration.

Moreover, all the list of panelists were the proud alumni members of Department of Public Administration, consisted with Snr. Prof. and Chair (Mrs.) R. Lalitha S. Fernando, Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Prof. Champika Liyanagamage, Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance, Faculty of Management Studies, The Open University of Sri Lanka and Prof. M. A. K. Sriyalatha, Department of Business Economics, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

The five authors has been selected by the panel of paper reviewers as the best papers to present their research findings on that day. Accordingly, this event served as a dedicated platform for undergrads to present their studies, discuss their methodologies and disseminate their insights to a wider audience of peers, academics, and industry professionals.

Further, the panelists were given a small souvenir for their valuable contribution to success this exceptional event. Also, all the paper presenters will be awarded a certificate for their research after submitting the final paper by adhering to the all the comments given by the panelists.
