Curriculum Review & Development Workshop - B. Sc. Management (Public) General (External) Degree

The External Degrees and Extensions Courses Unit (EDEU) of University of Sri Jayewardenepura organized a Curriculum Review & Development Workshop for the purpose of revising and developing degree curriculars of Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce of University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

The workshop took place on 31st of March and 01st of April 2024 at Hotel Anantaya, Chilaw. The Program proceedings commenced with the warm welcome from Mr. W. M. N. Weeratunge, Former Chairman of the Board of Studies of Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

The program was featured with five sesions for each external degrees program offered from Faculty of Management Srudies and Comerce, University of Sri Jayawardenepura. The most of the senior academic members and junior academic members of the department were participated to this workshop to have a valuable discussion for the purpose of making well-established curricula for our degree program.

Moreover, the program was glamoured with the participation of Prof. Venerable Pinawala Sanghasumana Thero, The Director of the External Degrees and Extensions Courses Unit, Dr. Dushan Jayawaickrama, Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura and Dr. R. P. C. K. Jayasinnghe, Head of the Department of Public Administration.

Finally, the program was ended-up with a fruitful discussion with the hope of introducing academically rich curriculars for the faculty.
