Inauguration Ceremony of Master of Science in Public Policy and Management and Master of Public Management programs – 4th Intake
The Department of Public Administration successfully conducted the inaugural ceremony (4th intake) of the Master of Science in Public Policy and Management – MSc (PPM) and Master of Public Management (M PM) Programs on 15th of July 2023 through the Zoom platform. The keynote speech of the event was delivered by Mr. Austin Fernando, former High Commissioner of Sri Lanka in India, and the former Secretary to the President of Sri Lanka. Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Upul Subasinghe, Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, Dr. Dushan Jayawickrama, Head of the Department of Public Administration, Dr. R. P. C. K. Jayasinghe, and Coordinator of the MSc (PPM) and M PM programs, Snr. Prof, R. L S. Fernando also addressed the gathering. Ms. H. G. T. S. Priyarshani, a past student of the MSc (PPM) 2020 batch who is the Secretary of the Labor Tribunals Secretariate of the Ministry of Justice shared her experience. Visiting lecturers of the programs, other academics, and non-academics of the Department participated in the session.
