Study Visit to Texpro Industries (Pvt) Ltd
Students of the Department of Entrepreneurship visited Texpro Industries (Pvt) Ltd, on 18th June 2015 to get a practical exposure on textile industry. Texpro Industries (Pvt) Ltd is one of leading textile manufacturers in Sri Lanka. Texpro is an export oriented company which supplies fabrics to the world’s giants in the garment industry such as M&S, Next etc.
Mr. Kumarasinghe, Operations Manager of the company briefed the operation processes of the company, their quality concerns, varieties of fabrics, buying behavior of the leading buyers and new trends in the textile industry.
It was really a helpful program for the students and academics and also students could gather practical knowledge about the textile industry.
This program was organized under the Business Plan Development subject.
