Congratulations to Hansana Janinda – Winner of the J’pura Best Young Entrepreneur Award at JESA 2025

We are proud to announce that Hansana Janinda, a third-year undergraduate of the Department of Entrepreneurship, has earned recognition by winning the J’pura Best Young Entrepreneur Award at the J’pura Employability Skills Awards (JESA) 2025. This outstanding achievement brings great pride to the Department and reflects the entrepreneurial spirit we strive to cultivate among our students.

The Best Young Entrepreneur Award honours self-driven undergraduates who demonstrate strong entrepreneurial capability, the courage to take risks, innovative thinking, leadership, and the ability to pitch and present their ventures with confidence. Hansana has consistently showcased these qualities throughout his academic journey. He has always been an opportunity seeker, keenly identifying societal problems and developing creative, practical solutions through his innovative ideas.

Hansana is the founder of Yoo Boba, an emerging venture in the food and beverage sector. His entrepreneurial work is centred around the growing boba industry, where he aims to introduce unique, high-quality products to the market. With a clear vision for the future, he plans to expand his business into a full-scale retail operation, continuing his journey as a promising young entrepreneur.
