Guest Lecture on Entrepreneurship and Spirituality

Department of Entrepreneurship organized a guest lecture session on ‘Entrepreneurship and Spirituality: Create a Long, Steady and a Happy Entrepreneurial Journey through Spirituality’ on 17th January 2019 from 1.00 pm onwards at SBTF 01/B hall.  Prof. Rohana Ulluwishewa, a visiting professor of Centre for Spirituality in Sustainable Business Management of Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, who is also a prize winning author of several books on Spirituality and Sciences shared his knowledge and experiences with the students and staff of the Department in this session. The concept of Giving and Taking, how the Space supports and prioritize the demands of Givers, the importance of spiritual businesses, spirituality in businesses, spirituality and entrepreneurship were the areas addressed.

This was organized under the requirement of the course unit ENT 3342: Intelligence and Belief Management, a unique course aimed at improving the spiritual aspect of a human being which is utmost important to nurture a wholesome entrepreneur for the betterment of the society.
