Nawa Arunalu Workshop Series

The department of  Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura conducts a series of awareness workshops called “Nawa Arunalu” aiming the school students (Grade 9 to Grade 13) under the Centre for Entrepreneurship (CEFEN). The program covers the concepts related with the entrepreneurship. Especially, this program stresses the school students to think and read the world in a creative manner. Department is planning to conduct 100 workshops under the “Nawa Arunalu 2015” to address about 50,000 school students all over the country. The department has planned to maintain very a close and long term relationship with the students to support them in their future entrepreneurial endeavors.

Mr. Shyaman Udayanga- Senior Lecturer, Mr. Isuru Rajapaksha- Lecturer and Mr. Channa Gajanayaka- Lecturer have already completed four programs successfully in St. Anthenese College –  Panadura, St. Sebastian College – Moratuwa, Our Ladies of Victory Convent – Moratuwa and Moratuwa Maha Vidyalaya.

Th Department of Entrepreneurship expects to cover 100 workshops under the Nawa Arunalu Program.
