
Outbound Training at Wilpattuwa Wild Life Sanctuary
Department of Entrepreneurship organized an outbound training at Wilpattuwa Wild Life Sanctuary from 11th to 13th January with the participation of all the internal students of the department. This workshop was organized to provide the students with an opportunity to understand and apply the different types of intelligence for the purpose of improving their personalities. Further, after successfully completing the workshop it was intended that the students could explain the concept of multiple intelligences, describe the meanings and the uses of each type of intelligences, design different techniques to help improve their learning capacities, move with teams effectively using enhanced interpersonal skills, communicate effectively, solve problems at different contexts and emerge as leaders when the situation demands. Thirty-seven students from degree part ii, iii and iv, academic staff including Mr. Shyaman Udayanga – Head of the Department, Mr. Rukmal Weerasinghe, Mr. Channa Gajanayaka, Dr. Sriyani Ranasinghe, Ms. Bimali Ranasinghe, and two non-academic staff members; Mr. Heshan Pradeep and Ms. Thisaru Tharushika participated in the workshop. Dr. Maneesha Kodithuwakku and Mr. Sameera Jayawardane also contributed to the workshop as resource persons.
