Study Visit to CBSL
A group of students of the Department of Entrepreneurship visited Regional Development Department of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, on 22nd June 2015 for an awareness program. Regional Development Department can be considered as one of the key strategic units for empowering Small and Medium Enterprises in Sri Lanka.
Mr. A.M.R.K. Attanayake- Additional Director, Mr. M.C. Dilhan De Silva- Senior Assistant Director, D.M.K.B. Dunuthilaka- Senior Assistant Director participated this event. Subject matters, general issues and strategic actions were discussed to empower the SME sector.
It was really a helpful program for the students and academics as well. Officers of the CBSL and Academics of the university agreed to organize a forum of Business Development Support Services providers to establish and to promote an entrepreneurial culture in Sri Lanka to promote local SMEs.
This program was organized under the Business Plan Development subject.
