Study Visit to University of Stockholm
The Department of Entrepreneurship organized and completed a successful academic visit to University of Stockholm, Sweden from 01st to 10th of October 2017. The students of Master Degree in Entrepreneurship and its alumni members participated in the program under the guidance of Mr. R.N. Weerasinghe, Head of the Department- Department of Entrepreneurship and Dr. P.J. Kumarasinghe, Senior Lecturer -Department of Business Economics. This visit helped immensely to learn the higher education system of Sweden and the dedication and commitment of University of Stockholm towards encouraging university students on entrepreneurship and innovation. The officials of Stockholm University showed their interest for engaging in a long-term relationship and agreed to assist our university to promote entrepreneurship education through sharing their expertise. The Department extends sincere thanks to Mr. C.R. Pieris (Senior Lecturer, Department of Information Technology) who is following his Ph.D. in Stockholm university for his great contribution to make the visit a success.
