Workshop By Ms.Cheryl Edison

A special workshop was organized by the Department of Entrepreneurship together with the American Center Colombo on 10th July 2017 from 9.00 am to 12 noon at the American Center Colombo. The resource person was Ms.Cheryl Edison; a Silicon Valley serial entrepreneur and global business development expert with a track record of successfully launching companies, products and services into new markets across 47 industries. Her fruitful discussion helped both the students and lecturers to get an awareness about the entrepreneurial opportunity identification, matching opportunities with characteristics of the entrepreneur etc. Further, the workshop was furnished with an awareness session on 3D printing.

Mr. Rukmal Weerasinghe; Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Lecturers; Mr. Isuru Rajapaksha, Ms. Yeshika Somarathna, Mr. Channa Gajanayaka, Ms. Shanika Perera and all the students of the Department participated for this workshop.
