Annual General Meeting of Students' Association of Public Administration- 2024

The Annual General Meeting of the Association of Public Administration (APA) for 2024 unfolded with great success on 29th of August at the New Faculty Board room. This significant occasion marked the appointment of the new Executive Board and Committee Members for the year 2024/25. The event was enriched by the presence of esteemed academics and enthusiastic undergraduates from the Department of Public Administration, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, who came together to celebrate the spirit of leadership and collaboration.

The meeting featured key moments such as the outgoing Co-President’s welcome speech, the presentation of the meeting minutes of last AGM and the Income and Expenditure statement by the outgoing Treasurer. The appointment of the new Executive Committee was the highlight of the event, followed by speeches from the Head of the Department and the newly appointed President. Also, a symbolic grant of donations to the Association and the Department added significance to the occasion. The ceremony concluded with the awarding of Certificates of appreciation to the outgoing committee and a vote of thanks from the newly appointed Secretary, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and anticipation for the year ahead.
