First Year Orientation Program of the B. Sc. Honours in Management (Public) Degree Program - 2024 Batch

The Department of Public Administration organized the Orientation Program for the First Year Undergraduates of the Department to officially welcome new students to the Department. The event took place on 06th of March 2024, from 08.00 A.M. onwards at New Faculty Board Room of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The Guest Speaker of the event was Mr. Aruna Gunasekara, Head of the HR & Administration, Nippon Paint Lanka (Pvt) Ltd and a proud alumina of the Department of Public Administration.

The program proceedings commenced with the speech addressed by Dr. R. P. C. K. Jayasinghe, Head of the Department of Public Administration. Moreover, The event was more exceptional with the great speech delivered by the Guest Speaker of the event, Mr. Aruna Gunasekara, Head of the HR & Administration, Nippon Paint Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.

Also, the event was more glamoured with the participation of Dr. Dushan Jayawickrama, Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The Guest Speaker was awarded a Plaque as a souvenir for being part of this event success. Moreover, all the first year students of the Department also given a small souvenir to make this event a memorable day for them.
