AboutSMEDSU:
Small and Medium Enterprises Development Support Unit (SMEDSU) is the official body designed by the Department of Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura to link the academia with theindustry.In the year 2009 SMEDSU has taken a big step by starting an associated legal body named Chamber of Small and MediumEnterprises (COSME) for facilitating establishment and growth of SMEs.
Aims of SMEDSU:
- Design and implement academic programs to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes of the entrepreneurs of SMEs.
- Research agenda aimed at SME development.
Courses Offered:
These courses have been designed with the intention of developing themanagerial know-how of the Sri Lankan entrepreneurs, managers, consultants,and other interested parties so that they can effectively and efficientlyface local and global challenges.
