Women's Day Celebration-2020

The HRM Speech Club in collaboration with the HRM family successfully celebrated Women’s Day on the 4th of March this year at the K.A. Munasinghe Hall from 3.00 pm onwards.

The event acknowledged and empowered all women in the Department, University and the world who are beautiful, smart and fierce alike. The occasion was graced by guest speeches by Dr. Thilini Gunasekara, Head of the Department of Polymer Science and a competent communicator of Toastmasters and Dr. Shyamalee Samaranayake, Head of the Department of Family Medicine who were both an inspiration to the audience.

There was also a speech made by the advisor of the HRM Speech Club and the Co-Chair of the event Dr. Bhadra Arachchige who was the superwoman behind this glamorous event guiding and directing the club.
