Guest Lecture on Information System Security and Auditing

An Guest Lecture on Information System Security  and Auditing was conducted as part of the Subject ITRC 3348 – Information and Communication Networks to introduce students to professional certifications and emerging career directions  available for students studying for the Business Information Systems Degree. Third Year Students of the Department of Information Technology participated in this guest Lecture. The session was conducted by Mr. Lakmal Embuldeniya, (Consultant – Projects, TechOne Sanje Ltd, Membership Director – ISACA Sri Lanka Chapter) and Mr. Indika Rajakaruna (Manager – Group Audit, National Development Bank, CISA Coordinator – ISACA Sri Lanka Chapter).

35 Students participated in the guest lecture organized by Dr. K.S. Lasith Gunawardena (Coordinator ITC 3348 Subject) with the assistance of staff members from the Department of Information Technology.
