Nada '24: A Resplendent Return to Celebrate Talent and Unity

The Students’ Association of Finance, Department of Finance, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, proudly hosted Nada ’24, its annual talent show, on 29th November 2024 at the prestigious Bandaranayake Hall. This much-anticipated event brought together students, faculty, and distinguished guests for an evening filled with vibrant performances, cultural expression, and heartfelt celebration.

Following a brief hiatus, Nada ’24 marked a triumphant return, serving as a vibrant platform to showcase the diverse talents of the students while fostering unity, creativity, and cultural expression within the department. The event was graced by the presence of the Vice Chancellor as the Chief Guest, Mr. Kalana Gunasekara as the Special Guest alongside the Head of the Department, faculty members, and other distinguished invitees.

The event featured an array of mesmerizing performances that showcased the extraordinary talents of the students, leaving the audience captivated throughout the evening. Traditional and freestyle dance acts, performed by 2nd and 3rd-year students, brought energy and cultural vibrancy to the stage, while solo and group musical performances highlighted the rich creativity and musical diversity within the department. Adding further excitement, thought-provoking dramas brought storytelling to life, and a special artist appearance energized the crowd, elevating the event to new heights. The program concluded on a high note with a band performance, leaving the audience energized and inspired.
