CFA Awareness Programme 2017
The department of finance organized a special awareness programme on benefits available to the students of the department of finance under “CFA and the University of Sri Jayewardenepura Partnership Program”. The program was held on the 25th of January 2017 at Fayol lecture hall from 5.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. The resource person was Mr. Aruna Perera, Senior Vice President of Training and Knowledge Management, Copal Amba (A Moody’s Analytics Company). Ms. Thilangani Weerasinghe , Co-Chair, University Outreach, CFA Society Sri Lanka, also participated in the event. The program was very successful as students demonstrated a great enthusiasm in listening to the presenter and willingness to actively participate in the Q & A session. This was one of the series of events the department of finance plans to organize for the students to help them shape their future. Given the positive response from the participants the department is encouraged to conduct more events of this nature in the near future.
