Ms. Ama Hingurala Arachchi is a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Finance at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. She holds a first-class Bachelor's degree in Finance from the same university and an MBA specializing in Finance from the University of Colombo. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Finance at RMIT in Australia and at the University of Moratuwa.
With eight years of extensive teaching experience, Ms. Hingurala Arachchi delivers lectures and tutorials on core subjects including Financial Management, Investment and Portfolio Management, Entrepreneurial Finance, and Business Valuation. She has also contributed to academic coordination for courses like Contemporary Issues in Finance and Internship in Finance.
Her research interests lie in Sustainable Finance, Personal Finance, and Inclusive Finance.
