How to create a perfect CV?
Department of Human Resource Management of University of Sri Jayewardenepura conducted a free webinar for the 3rd year students of the department on the timely topic of “How to create a perfect CV?”. This program was held on 9th of November 2020 via zoom platform conducted by a member of the Alumni Association of the Department of HRM, Ms. Andrea Jayatilleka – Director of Smart Quest (Pvt) Ltd.
Ms. Andrea Jayatilleka started with letting students visualizing where they are currently in their lives and what they want to become in future and moved towards how to create a perfect CV to match with their dream job. Further, she discussed about ways to find appropriate job opportunities as well as stressed the important points when preparing a proper CV.
This session was very useful for 3rd year students as they are planning to start their internships and they will be stepping into the corporate world sooner. Students were given opportunity to clarify their doubts from the host and get commented on their existing CV’s on what points to improve on those. Session marked a remarkable success as many positive feedbacks were received.
