
Workshop : Cyber Hygiene Trainings for MSMEs
The Asia Foundation’s Inclusive Economic Development program conducted a workshop for Student Ambassadors selected from the BIS programme who will conduct Cyber Hygiene Trainings for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) on the 1st of August 2025 at the SBGF 05 Hall, FMSC.
The team from The Asia Foundation’s Inclusive Economic Development program, comprised:

Ms. Chiara Wijetunga – Program Officer
Mr. Vivek Sundaresan – Program Assistant
A group of selected undergraduate students from the the Department of Information Technology actively participated in this interactive and insightful session.
The selected students will later be involved in conducting trainings for MSMEs across Sri Lanka, facilitated by the Asia Foundation. The programme was coordinated by Mr. Prabhasara Athurupana and Prof. Lasith Gunawardena on behalf of the Department of IT and was facilitated by Prof. Dushan Jaywickrama, Dean, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce.
