Blockchain Applications for Modern Society

The Department of Information Technology held a session titled “Blockchain Applications for Modern Society” on Tuesday, May 21st, 2024. This event was part of the ongoing DIT Tech Talks series.

The session provided students with a introductory view of Blockchain and applications that use Blockchain today. It also offered valuable guidance on how to develop and pitch an idea for the International Blockchain Olympiad competition. Mr. Gabriel Chan, Secretary General of the International Blockchain Olympiad, served as the resource person for the session.
