Excellence in Employability: BIS Students Shine at JESA 2025

We are proud to congratulate Ms. Amaya Amarasinghe, BIS Final Year Undergraduate, and Mr. Ashen Gunaratne, BIS Second Year Undergraduate, on their achievements at the Japura Employability Skills Awards (JESA) 2025.

Ms. Amaya Amarasinghe was adjudged as Winner – Best Team Player, while Mr. Ashen Gunaratne secured 2nd Runners Up – Best Young Entrepreneur, recognising their exceptional skills, leadership, and innovative mindset.

The awards ceremony was organised by the Career Guidance Unit of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and held on 10th December 2025 at Golden Rose, Boralesgamuwa.
