Guest Lecture on Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting and Ethics
The Department of Finance organized a guest lecture for the 3rd year and 4th year students of the department on “Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Reporting and Credit” in collaboration with the Acuity Knowledge Partners. The collaboration is an outcome of the implementation of MoU signed between Department of Finance and Acuity Knowledge Partners. This session took place on 29th of January 2020 at the Munasinghe Hall of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce. Mr. Nuwan Jayawardana, Associate Director – Head of Fixed Income and Credit Research, Acuity Knowledge Partners, Ms Himasha Perera, Associate – Fixed Income and Credit Research, Acuity Knowledge Partners and Mr Shehan Mendis, Associate – Fixed Income and Credit Research, Acuity Knowledge Partners resourced the session. The associates are alumni members of the Department of Finance. The prime objective of this session was to share practical knowledge among the students of the department to make them enriched with ethics and competent knowledge required for them to face the challenges in the global financial market.
