Annual General Meeting of the Alumni Association

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Alumni Association of the Department of Information Technology (DITAA) was successfully held on 26th September 2024, at 6:30 pm, in-person at the New Faculty Boardroom and virtually via Zoom, with over 50 members in attendance. The meeting featured discussions on initiatives to enhance alumni engagement, support departmental activities, and establish future objectives. During the AGM, new office bearers were also elected for the forthcoming term.

Vice President: Mr. Anuja Madugalle (Project Manager – JF & I Packaging / Batch 2013/14)

Secretary: Mr. Kavinga Priyasad Elamulla (Lecturer, Department of IT  / Batch 2014/15)

Treasurer: Dr. Amitha Kumara (Senior Lecturer, Department of IT)

Assistant Secretary: Ms. Malshi Shyamika (Associate Support Engineer – Bancstac / Batch 2018/19)

Assistant Treasurer: Ms. Thanushi Jayaweera (Principal Consultant – Anthesis Ltd / Batch 2013/14)

This gathering provided a valuable platform for alumni to reconnect, share ideas, and strengthen their ties with the university, fostering the growth and success of the association.
