Annual General Meeting of the Students’ Association of Finance 2020
The 16th Annual General Meeting of the Students’ Association of Finance was held on the 03rd February 2020 at K.A.Munasinghe hall at 12.30 p.m. with the participation of the Head of the Department Dr. (Ms.) P. A.N.S. Anuradha and the lecture panel, the former committee members, final year, 3rd year and 2nd year undergraduates and the senate officers of SAF.
The meeting commenced with the welcome speech of the outgoing president Mr. Ishan Dissanayaka. There after outgoing vice secretary Ms. Madushi Jayamanne read the minutes of 15th Annual General Meeting. Then the Head of the Department Dr. (Ms.) P. A.N. S. Anuradha and Prof.P.D.Nimal addressed the gathering with valuable advices. Thereafter the office bearers for the 2019/2020 were appointed as follows.
Secretary- Ishanika Seneviratne
President- Muditha Rajapakse
Vice President- Thushan Chamika
Vice secretary- Tharushi Egodahewage
Treasure- Dinuka Ranmal Perera
Auditor- Winura Lakwin Wijekulasooriya
Independent Member- Damith Chamikara
Then, Executive Members for the academic year 2019/2020 were appointed.
Then Previous financial accounts of SAF were handed over to new junior treasurer Dinuka Ranmal Perera by outgoing junior treasurer Vihanga Pramod and other official documents were handed over to new secretary Ishanika Seneviratne by outgoing vice secretary Madushi Jayamanne.
Finally, the newly appointed president Muditha Rajapakse addressed the gathering and vote of thanks was delivered by the newly appointed secretary, Ishanika Seneviratne.
