RCBM – Reading Session 02

The Cluster for Organisation and Society, which is attached to the Research Centre for Business Management (RCBM) of the Department of Business Administration, conducted its second academic research session on Tuesday, 9 August 2022 from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon via Zoom. The article titled “Becoming an “owner” in a learner-centered context: a Sri Lankan experience at a postgraduate taught course in management and technology” was taken into the discussion. The discussion was facilitated by the authors of the research article, Prof. Hemamalie Gunatilaka and Dr. Dushan Jayawickrama. The academic members of the department participated in the discussion and contributed to developing a very constructive discussion on “Learner-centered pedagogy” which was the core of the article. In addition to that, the Cluster for Organisation and Society presented the proposal for its prospective research.
