From surface acting to genuine care: emotional labor among SOS mothers in Sri Lanka

We are pleased to announce the recent publication by our colleagues, Mr. Nirmal Chathuranga and Prof. Hemamalie Gunatilaka, in the journal Culture and Organization. Their study explores how SOS mothers manage emotional labour through surface acting, deep acting, and “genuinely felt” emotions.
