I am Hemamalie Guantilaka and I have 30 years of teaching experience at the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. I obtained PhD in Women and Gender studies from the University of Warwick, UK. I am an accredited teacher in higher education - a qualification granted by SEDA, UK. I teach Principles of Management, Organisational Behaviour, Organisational Change and Development, Business Psychology and Qualitative Research Methods. I am the former Director of the Centre for Gender Equity and Equality (GEE) at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and the Centre for Gender Equity/Equality of the University Grants Commission.
