Vesak Celebration on 15th May 2022
We conducted our Vesak Celebration for 2022 in conjunction with Vesak Poya day which was on 15th May 2022 in line with the Sadaham Waruna program organized by the Students’ Association of Finance (SAF).
We invited a venerable buddhist thero to the Bodhi Mandapaya at our university and conducted a Boodhi Pooja ceremony wishing all the success for the country. This event was participated by 2nd year and 3rd year students of Department of Finance at the university.
SAF collaborated with LOLC Care – Child Development Center to donate food and essential items to children at Madiwela.
SAF also conducted a spiritual theme PR campaign in the Social Media platforms for the Vesak week.
Poson Celebration – 14th June 2022
Students’ Association of Finance (SAF) conducted the Poson Celebration for 2022 in conjunction with Poson Poya day which was on 14th June 2022 in line with the Sadaham Waruna program of the association.
SAF organized a Boodhi Pooja ceremony at Bellanwila Raja Maha Viharaya in order to wish success for the country and speedy economic recovery. This event was participated by 2nd year and 3rd year students of Department of Finance at the university.
