Finspiration'22

Finspiration’22 the annual welcome of the second-year undergraduates of the Department of Finance of University of Sri Jayawardenapura was successfully concluded on the 13^th of June 2022 at the university grounds with the purpose of welcoming the second-year undergraduates to the department while enhancing the cooperation between second year and third year undergraduates. The event was held with the participation of Senior Advisor Prof. (DR.) Y.K. Weerakoon Banda, Senior lecturer Mr. S.D.L Kongahawatte, Lecturer Mr. Ruwanga Wijesooriya, Assistant Lecturer Hansani Palihawadana and Assistant Lecturer Ruwangi Mahanama.

Lecturer Mr. Ruwanga Wijesooriya addressed all the students while welcoming the second-year students to the “Finance Family.” He explained the importance of engaging in extra-curricular activities organized by the Department while giving priority to the academic activities.

Over one hundred students of second year and third year were also present at the event. It was a fun filled day with games, singing, dancing, and glowing holy. All the games were aimed at enhancing the team sprit among second years. Prizes were given to the winners by the Senior lecturer Mr. S.D.L Kongahawatte. The day ended with a musical event and glamorous fire works. It was one of the most memorable experiences in the university life of an undergraduate.
