DIT Career Launchpad 2020: Workshop #2
The second workshop of the series “DIT Career Launchpad 2020” was successfully concluded on the 23rd December via zoom with the participation of 4th year students of the Department awaiting internship opportunities. The keynote speech of the workshop, titled “Journey towards the Dream Job” was delivered by Ms Sharon Kern, Head of HR of Embla Software Innovation (pvt) Ltd. The Keynote can be viewed here
Two alumni members of the Department of Information Technology, Mr. Nadeera Nuwan (Senior Associate, Deloitte & Touche, Dubai) and Ms. Hashini Perera (Tech Lead, SPIL Glass Software Pvt. Ltd.) delivered invited speeches on career progress based on their personal experience. The workshop was followed by a live Q & A session which provided the opportunity for students to interact with the speakers.
