Pivindi Alwis is a senior lecturer in the Department of Business Administration of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. She graduated from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and received her MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Currently, she is reading for her PhD at the University of Auckland Business School, New Zealand. Pivindi's research interests centre on the critical study of work and organisations, with her ongoing research interests includes platform capitalism, precarious work and postcolonial dynamics.
