Dr. Nayomi De Peiris, together with Mr. M.N.P.K. Perera, published a research article titled “Strategies to Enhance Service Quality and Customer Loyalty in Emerging Market Supply Chains: Evidence from Sri Lanka” in Modern Supply Chain Research and Applications, an international journal published by Emerald Publishing. The journal is indexed in Scopus and is ranked Q1 in the Safety, Risk, Reliability and Quality category.

The study explores how import service providers in Sri Lanka strategically develop service quality to enhance customer satisfaction and foster long-term customer loyalty. It identifies four key dimensions of service quality that contribute to sustainable competitive advantage in emerging market supply chains and provides practical implications for service providers operating in dynamic international business environments.
