BIO

An enthusiastic educator with a passion for fostering intellectual growth and academic excellence in multiple areas that comes under the field of commerce. Also, I am driven by the passion to conduct research in order to understand and explore the concepts, academic literature and emerging trends in the field of commerce, to continuously update my knowledge and contribute to the society as a researcher. Academically, I am qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce (Special) Degree (First Class Honors) from University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka and currently I am reading for the Master of Business Administration Degree in the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka.

The article analysis how trade has changed over the course of years with the advancement of technology by identifying key evolution stages such as E-Commerce, M-Commerce, Social Commerce and U-Commerce and provides insights into the way forward such as exploring concepts such as "Livestreaming Commerce" which is an emerging concept in the global trade aspects.
