The Department of Estate Management and Valuation of University of Sri Jayewardenepura Signs MoU with Access Real Estate (Pvt) Ltd

The Department of Estate Management and Valuation of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Access Real Estate (Pvt) Ltd on 23 July 2025, marking a significant step towards strengthening industry–academic collaboration in the real estate sector.

Under this agreement, both parties will engage in a range of cooperative initiatives, including:

• Providing internship opportunities for undergraduates of the B.Sc. (Hons) in Real Estate Management and Valuation degree programme.
• Conducting joint research and publications focusing on real estate market activities.
• Building stronger links between industry and academia to support student development and contribute to the growth of the sector.

The signing ceremony was held at the University premises, attended by the heads of both institutions, academic staff, and representatives from Access Real Estate (Pvt) Ltd.

This partnership is expected to create new avenues for professional training, applied research, and knowledge exchange, benefiting future graduates and the evolving real estate industry in Sri Lanka.
