Community Consultation on Boarding House App

We recently held a Community Consultation meeting with Boarding House owners who offer boarding services to university students within the locality of University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The meeting was held at the Old Boardroom of the Faculty of Management and Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. During the meeting, we discussed the design of an online application that will make it easier for owners and students to reference and communicate with each other. B.Sc. (Honours) Estate Management and Valuation degree part III students are working on this project under the subject of Real Estate Project which is coordinated by Dr. Prathap Kaluthanthri. We believe that this online app will be a game-changer for the community and we’re excited to see the progress that we make on this project. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on our progress as we move forward.This project is an extension of the research work of the Prof. K G P K Weerakoon (Principle Supervisor) and Research Assistants namely, Mr. Nilantha Randeniya, Mr. Udita Jayampath and Thumul Dasun under the Research Grant No ASP/01/RE/MGT/2021/52 of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
