Final Year Undergraduates Visited the Government Valuation Department
Our undergraduates had an incredible learning opportunity as they recently visited the Government Valuation Department to gain hands-on experience in compulsory acquisition and valuation procedures. Under the subject of Applied Valuation II, our students delved into the intricacies of valuation for compulsory acquisition purposes.
During this insightful visit, our students had the chance to engage with various aspects including the examination of respective gazette notifications, sections, and procedures of land acquisition. They also got to apply their knowledge of the Land Acquisition Act No 09 of 1950, 2008 regulations and explore the procedures of the Land Acquisition Board of Review.
It’s amazing to see our students actively immersing themselves in real-world scenarios, gaining practical insights that will undoubtedly enrich their academic journey and future endeavors.
