Inauguration Ceremony of the Postgraduate Programme in Real Estate Management and Valuation – 2022 Intake
The Inauguration Ceremony of the Postgraguate Diploma and the MSc programme in Real Estate Management and Valuation (REMV) offered by the Department of Estate Management and Valuation, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, was successfully held for the learning partners of the 2022 intake, on 23rdApril 2022 from 09.00am onwards via an online platform.
Senior Prof. Sudantha Liyanage, Vice-Chancellor – University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Prof. P. D. Nimal, Dean – Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, Dr. Upuli Perera, Head of Department of Estate Management and Valuation and Senior Prof. (Chair) R. G. Ariyawansa graced the occasion as special invitees. To dignify the event further, Mr. Suranga Peiris – Head of Sales – The Grand, Prime Group who is also an EMV Alumnus – MSc in REMV (2016), joined the ceremony to share his experience of the programme.
The event received an audience of around 50 students who registered for the programme and other academic members of the faculty.
Dr. Prathap Kaluthanthri is currently the Coordinator of the Postgraduate Programmes in Real Estate Management and Valuation. The MSc in REMV is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS-UK) and these programmes are particularly designed for graduates and practitioners engaged in Real Estate Management and Valuation and graduates in other allied fields, who wish to improve their knowledge and competencies.
