Mr. A.S.W.K. Nanayakkara, Chief Valuer of the Government Valuation Department, Honored with Pradeepa Pranama – 2025 Award

Mr. A.S.W.K. Nanayakkara, Chief Valuer of the Government Valuation Department and a distinguished alumnus of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, was recently honored with the prestigious Pradeepa Pranama – 2025 award. The Department of Estate Management and Valuation extends its warmest congratulations on this remarkable achievement.

The Pradeepa Pranama award is a prestigious recognition presented to alumni who have made outstanding contributions to their professional fields and to the nation. This year’s recipients included eminent government officials, entrepreneurs, ministry secretaries, department heads, scholars, academics, researchers, sports leaders, educators, and individuals engaged in religious and social service.

The awards ceremony, held on March 27, 2025, at Waters Edge Hotel, Battaramulla, was organized to celebrate excellence, leadership, and national service. The event was held under the distinguished patronage of Hon. (Dr.) Jagath Wickramaratne, Speaker of Parliament, who attended as the Chief Guest. The ceremony was further graced by the presence of Most Venerable Dr. Ittapana Dhammalankara Thero, Chancellor of the University, as the Guest of Honour, and Senior Professor Pathmalal M. Manage, Vice Chancellor of the University, as a distinguished guest.
