Annual External Examiners' Review : 2020

The Annual External Examiners’ Review : 2020 of the B.Sc Estate Management and Valuation (Special) Degree Programme was conducted from 23.11.2020 to 25.11.2020 via Online. Prof Ong Seow Eng, Department of Real Estate, National University of Singapore and Chartered Valuation Surveyor PW Senaratne (Former Government Chief Valuer) were the Foreign and the Local External Examiners appointed respectively. The examination included

1) Meetings with the Chairman-University Grants Commission, Vice-Chancellor, Dean, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, Head and the Department Staff, University Service Units Heads/Coordinators, Industry Stakeholders and Students and

2) Review of relevant documents.

The examination session also shared the teaching, learning and assessment practices between the Department of Real Estate, the National University of Singapore and the Department of Estate Management and Valuation, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, particularly how those were undertaken during Covid-19 conditions and preparing graduates for the 21st century.
