Nuwanpriya Mendis is currently attached to the Department of Estate Management and Valuation in the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and serves as a Lecturer (Probationary). He graduated with his B.Sc. in Estate Management and Valuation (Special) Degree with a first-class honour from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

He is currently reading for an M.Sc. in Applied Finance at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. His academic interests include real estate market analysis, business valuation, and urban economics. He is also actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic-related activities within the department.
