Chamod Chandika is currently attached to the Department of Estate Management and Valuation in the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and serves as a Assistant Lecturer (Temporary). He graduated with his B.Sc. in Estate Management and Valuation (Special) Degree with a Second Upper-class honour from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

He is currently reading for an MPhil in Multidisciplinary at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. His academic interests include building construction, property drawing and documentation, building pathology, building constrction, construction project management. He is also actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic-related activities within the department.
