Miss Githmi Oshara Abeysooriya is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Lecturer (Probationary) at the Department of Estate Management and Valuation. With a passion for real estate management and valuation, she actively engages in teaching and assisting in subjects related to her field. Additionally, she holds the role of Administrative Assistant at the Centre for Real Estate Studies (CRES), where she adeptly coordinates and manages research and consultancy activities.
Having earned her undergraduate degree in B.Sc. Estate Management and Valuation (Special) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Miss Abeysooriya brings a solid academic foundation to her roles. Her keen interest in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for real estate management led her to pursue a Diploma in GIS and Remote Sensing from the same university.
Miss Abeysooriya is an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), UK, and an Associate Professional of the Green Building Council of Sri Lanka, reflecting her commitment to excellence in real estate management, valuation, and the promotion of sustainable practices within the built environment. In addition, she serves as an Academic Advisor at the Student Support Centre of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, where she is dedicated to guiding and supporting students throughout their academic journey.

The role involves organizing documentation, ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements, liaising with academic and administrative stakeholders, and facilitating the preparation and submission of required reports. This position supports the continuous quality assurance of academic programmes and ensures adherence to internationally recognized professional standards in education and training.
Coordinator- Examination and Time Table Matters - Liaises with the examination unit and academic staff to manage timetable and examination-related matters, ensuring accurate scheduling, conflict resolution, compliance with academic regulations, and smooth execution of academic calendars.
