Mauri Siyambalapitiya is currently serving as an Assistant Lecturer (Temporary) in the Department of Estate Management and Valuation at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Surveying Sciences, which provides her with a robust technical foundation in surveying, geoinformatics, and spatial data structures.

With a specialized skill set as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst, she excels in data analysis and applying spatial technologies to real-world geographic challenges. Her expertise bridges the gap between traditional surveying disciplines and modern geospatial analytics, enhancing the department's multidisciplinary approach to land and property management.

Her academic and professional interests focus on GIS applications, advanced data analysis, and contemporary surveying methodologies. She is actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic development, dedicating her expertise to mentoring students and contributing to innovative research within the field.
