BIO
Professor (Mrs) Nishani Wickramaarachchi currently attached to the Department of Estate Management and Valuation in the faculty of Management Studies and commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, serves as a professor. She graduated with her first degree in Estate Management and Valuation with a first-class honor and qualified with her MSc in Town and Country Planning in University of Moratuwa. She obtained her PhD from the University of Colombo in the field of ‘Land Tenure and Land Productivity’. Professor (Mrs) Nishani Wickramaarachchi is professionally qualified as a Fellow member (FITP) in ITPSL, Associate member (AIV) in IVSL, and Chartered Valuation Surveyor (MRICS) RICS, UK. She is an Emerald Literati award winner(Most outstanding Reviwer-2022) and is the Editor in chief for the Journal of Real Estate Studies (JRES) published by the Department of Estate Management and Valuation and Co-Editor in Chief for the Journal of Business Research and Insights (JBRI), published by the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce. She has contributed as a supervisor and a researcher for several National Consultancy projects including Evaluation of the Intervention on Land Tenure under the Dry Zone Livelihood Support & Partnership Programme, National Highway sector project-Socio Economic and Inventory of Losses Survey and Asset Valuation programs of National Universities.
